The passengers were all restless and anxious as they sat around waiting for when they could finally board the plane. Giovanni sat down next to a redhead reading a huge book and tried to catch his breath. He stayed there for a healthy forty-five minutes before they were able to board the plane. In all that time, the redhead never looked up from her book. They boarded the plane and took different seats and Giovanni soon forgot about her. The one-hour flight was relatively peaceful and uneventful. The most action the passengers got was when an airhostess spilled coffee on a young man’s shirt.
